Description
Le Chant Masqué
is a paraphrase of the title le Bal Masqué.
In this work it is the voice of the real performer, a voice that even combining different typologies makes them easily recognizable. This happens because the voice aims at suggesting a peculiar interpretation, an interpretation which does not follow the classical style. The musical passages, whether Satie or Poulenc, are not viewed as the author’s “unicum”, but as separate monologues to be valued in accordance with how much both Adria Mortari music and text can suggest.
