Description
The songs on this album were written in different time and space inspired by great composers of the past. Coming from years of experimentation in the contemporary and progressive world, reconnecting with those who formed me.
Inspired by their world, imagining their dreams and making them my own. Bulerias which is a rumba comes from an old swedish arpeggio piece mixed with a loop slapping the guitar from the ¾ rumba groove , I wrote “Children Song” in the cowntryside of Tuscany while listening to Bela Bartok, and Bulerias and Andalusien on the island of Gotland while studying and listening to great Swedish and Spanish composers in the beginning of 20th century. Resistens (Resistance) originally written for violin and guitar is dedicated to Protestant pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was executed in the concentration camp of Flossenburg in 9th of April Germany in 1945.
